Deep garnet red colour. Scents of red berries, tobacco, pepper and white flowers. Entry is full and enveloping with soft tannins typical of the Cerretta Indication. Leaves the mouth clean with a persistent, rich aftertaste.

  • Grape variety: 100% Nebbiolo
    Vineyards: Serralunga d’Alba, our own vineyards adjacent to the winery
    and within the Cerretta Additional Geographical Indication. Yield after
    careful thinning out, not more than 65 quintals per hectare.

    Type of soil: part of the Lequio formation with white clay interspersed

     

    with layers of limestone sand.
    Ageing: in large Austrian oak barrels for 24 months. Further ageing in the

    bottle for about 7 months before going on sale.

    Production: 5,680 bottles - 500 Magnum 1.5 L

    Other formats available: Magnum 3 L - Magnum 5 L
    Serving temperature: 18°-20° C
    Food pairings: very suited to robust dishes such as roasts, braises, beef
    stews and with aged hard cheeses. Also goes well with truffle dishes.
