A vineyard-designate wine, the 2018 Brunello di Montalcino Vigna Colombaiolo reveals a dark ruby color and mid-weight concentration. The wine is fresh and bright. One thing to say about these new releases from Fabio Tassi is that the fruit brightness shines through. However, this wine, like the others I tasted in this flight, is thinner and shorter than expected in terms of mouthfeel. Production is 3,600 bottles.
