Juillet Lallement
Champagne, France (Verzy)

The estate is located in the heart of the Montagne de Reims in Verzy, in a very pretty typical Champagne village known for its exceptional forest and twisting beeches, 18 km from Reims. The Juillet-Lallement family business operates just over 4 hectares, spread over two terroirs, Verzy and Sillery, both classified as 100% Grand Cru. The average age of our plot is 40 years old, and for the little anecdote our oldest plot was planted in 1949 by one of our predecessors, Arthur LALLEMENT. We cultivate 45% Chardonnay, 50% Pinot Noir and 5% Pinot Meunier on 9 plots, planted on a chalky subsoil allowing the best development of the three Champagne grape varieties. Our philosophy strives to respect the cycles of nature and the elements that surround it, through a reasoned culture, respectful of the environment and of man.
